ABOUT ME

Juan Carlos Garcia
Before anything else, I’m a family man. I’m married, a proud father of two teenagers, and very intentional about finding the right balance between building ambitious things at work and being present at home.
Professionally, I’m a senior revenue leader—but at heart, I’m a people person. I genuinely enjoy working, building teams, and helping others grow. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me watching or playing sports. Tennis is a favorite, but American football and football are never far behind—and honestly, I’ll watch just about any sport.
I’ve always been deeply curious about technology. As a kid, I opened my first computer at nine years old just to see how it worked. That curiosity never left—I’ve built every desktop PC I’ve owned since, and now I do the same for my kids. Technology, sales, and learning how things work have always gone hand in hand for me.
With over 20 years of experience across sales and marketing, I still enjoy experimenting, learning, and adopting new ideas and technologies—not just professionally, but in everyday life as well.
I love spending time with friends and family over a cold beer or a good glass of wine, and occasionally a whiskey or tequila (being Mexican originally, it comes with the territory). Travel is also a big part of our lives—whether for work or family adventures, I’m often on the move.
Now, onto what matters in business – who am I professionally?
Executive Overview
I’m a Chief Revenue Officer and global SaaS growth leader with 15+ years of experience building and scaling B2B revenue organizations across Cybersecurity, MarTech, HealthTech, and Tech SaaS.
I’ve led revenue at every stage — from early build-out to $200M+ ARR environments — operating across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. My background spans full-funnel ownership, global go-to-market execution, and close partnership with CEOs, Boards, and investors.
I’m a builder, executive and operator, not a theory-only executive: I design the strategy, build the system, and lead execution until it performs predictably.
Personal Overview (How I View Business) – Repeat because it is important to me!
Data always tells a story.
I’m deeply data-driven and constantly looking for gaps, opportunities, and ways to improve every process I touch. One principle I’ve carried throughout my career is simple: if it’s not in our systems, it doesn’t exist. There is no such thing as perfect data—but reliable data is essential to move faster, make informed decisions, and scale with confidence.
People are the greatest asset.
Building and scaling teams—whether SDRs, AEs, specialists, or leaders—requires more than hiring talent. It requires understanding motivation, developing skills daily, and creating a culture that balances high performance with personal growth. When people feel challenged, supported, and accountable, revenue organizations outperform consistently.
Revenue is a system, not a set of silos.
Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps must operate as one. I deliberately move away from siloed teams and focus on the connections between them to drive efficiency across the entire revenue engine. SLAs alone don’t create alignment—data, ownership, and motivation do. Without those, SLAs become just another internal policy.
Accountability and execution are non-negotiable.
From individual contributors to first-line managers, second-line leaders, and the executive team, accountability underpins everything. Skill development matters deeply—but without execution and ownership, strategy never materialize into results.
Consistency and sustainability beat growth at all costs.
I’m cautious of “growth at any price” mentalities. Too often, they lead to short-term wins at the expense of long-term health. While early-stage companies sometimes need to adapt quickly, accelerated growth and sustainability are not opposites. The strongest businesses balance both—and that balance is where durable value is created.
My Story & Approach
Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to complex growth challenges — not just accelerating revenue, but making growth repeatable, predictable, and sustainable.
I focus on execution because strategy without operating discipline doesn’t scale. Across multiple organizations, I’ve rebuilt go-to-market models, redesigned sales processes, implemented forecasting rigor, and created operating cadences that turn ambition into measurable outcomes.
A consistent theme in my work is partnering closely with CEOs and leadership teams to translate growth objectives into clear priorities, realistic plans, and accountable execution. At the Board level, I help convert operational reality into confident decision-making — grounded in data, not optimism.
My philosophy rejects “growth at all costs.” Instead, I believe the strongest companies scale by balancing speed with discipline, and ambition with capital efficiency.

What Differentiates Me
My impact comes from combining strategic perspective with operational depth.
Forecasting & Predictability
I place strong emphasis on pipeline quality, stage rigor, and execution cadence. This approach has consistently improved forecast accuracy into the 85–90% range, strengthening leadership and Board confidence.
Unit Economics Mindset
I operate with a deep understanding of CAC, LTV, NRR, churn, and capacity models, ensuring growth decisions are economically sound and scalable.
Scaling Leaders, Not Just Sellers
Sustainable growth depends on leadership density. I focus heavily on hiring, developing, and scaling first- and second-line managers — building organizations that perform without heroics.
End-to-End Revenue Ownership
I’ve led Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, RevOps, and Channel motions as one system — aligning incentives, data, and execution across the entire revenue engine.
Today
I’m currently based in Valencia, Spain, working remotely with leadership teams across Europe and globally.
I engage as:
- Chief Revenue Officer / Chief Commercial Officer
- Interim or fractional CRO
- Board or advisory partner on revenue and GTM strategy
I enjoy working with ambitious teams who want to scale fast — without breaking what makes growth sustainable.
If that resonates, I’d be glad to connect.
